Here’s how we don’t fund our organization: We don’t have an endowment. We never run ads. We don’t have a paywall. We don’t even keep the money we make in our store—all proceeds of sales go to charity.
When we can, we get grants—The UU Funding Panel has been incredibly supportive. The revenue from our Sunday services contracts is also a part of our budget… But our bottom line is you.

We run a community of 140,000 people, doing something nobody has tried before. In 2021, we ran it on less than 50 cents per person, and we gave nearly a quarter of that to charity.
