This is where we "show our work"

So, as I was preparing for the Board meeting last month, I (Liz) realized two things:

1) Our organization runs in a way that is so incredibly different from anything I’m used to.

and

2) Holy crap about these numbers. What is going on?

I realized that we are making a thing, and we’re also figuring out how to run an organization that makes a thing. And that a journal about how we’re figuring it out will be useful to a very small percentage of people nestled at the intersection of religion/spirituality/meaning and content creation… But for those people it will be really really useful.

Most things we publish try to be funny, entertaining, or at least well written. This blog will not be one of those things. It is jot notes on a napkin, a journal of what we’re doing as we are figuring out how the heck to do it.

If you’re looking for actual humour, I recommend The UU Hysterical Society Facebook Group, the Cracked Cup Podcast, the Mirth and Dignity Youtube Channel, or literally anything on this website other than this blog.
